In what has been a week dedicated to all things Taylor Swift, we wanted to turn the spotlight on the singer’s extremely fierce footwear choices in support of her album release 1989. Secret listening parties, famous fan tweet-love, a Polaroid Instagram campaign, a concert on the roof of the Empire State Building, appearances on Late Show With David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Sirius Town Hall (phew!) made this one busy week for T. Swift, as she sailed her way to selling a million copies of her latest creative offering. Her shoes, like her music, are unstoppable.

Swift took her long stems out to Jimmy Kimmel in up-and-coming red carpet shoe designerChloe Gosselin’s bright pink “Datura” pump. The Ayer Snake stilettos feature a thin platform, curved ankle collar and a four-and-a-half-inch heel. Though this line just recently launched, it’s already landing in the hands of stylists around Hollywood’s boldfacers including Kate Winslet toElizabeth Hurley. Gosselin was a fan of the way Swift paired her pumps with a green ALC dress, sharing that, “The colors worked well together, both really popped. Datura is my signature pump and one of my first designs. The style was inspired by the round toes and curved arches of the fifties — an era Taylor wears very well.”

After performing on Good Morning America, Swift slipped into yet another fetching ensemble: a vintage-inspired dress from UK brand Miss Patina and Charlotte Olympia “Dolly” pump in turquoise and navy. These towering six-inch beauties feature a one-and-a-half-inch island platform and are part of Olympia’s core collection of classics. Swift often manages to make matchy-matchy look fun and spirited and this shoe selection is no exception.

Swift arrived for her appearance on David Letterman in a v-neck plunging mini dress by Antonio Berardi, showing off her gams. And what better to accompany her fabulous legs into the theater?Giuseppe Zanotti, of course. The black suede, four-and-a-quarter-inch stilettos embellished with hundreds of tiny micro crystals took the dress into otherworldly evening dimensions. Zanotti was pleased to see her in one of his designs all the way from Italy, as he said, “I am a big fan of Taylor Swift. She is always very sensual and chic. I love her personal style and how she wears my shoes, from a pair of sneakers to a refined pair of black crystal pumps.”

On Wednesday, Swift sat down at Sirius XM for an intimate Town Hall with the Morning Mashup hosts and handful of fans who got to ask their most burning questions. While she posted an Instagram shot with the caption, “if there ever was a day to wear a rainbow glitter skirt, it might as well be today,” her shoes were what caught our eyes, of course. The Jerome C. Rousseau “Dragonette” design is a-four-and-a-quarter-inch T-strap stiletto, in black, red and royal purple suede. “Style Dragonette means a lot to me as it’s a style I did to celebrate the five-year anniversary of my label,” said Rousseau, who also expressed his admiration for the pop star’s personal style and her achievements. “I love that Taylor wore it with a skirt that shows off the detailing of the shoe, but also her stunningly long legs. Taylor is having a huge year and I’m delighted to see her in my designs.”

Swift couldn’t stop her fierce shoe choices even when she was off the clock. Hitting up a Knicksgame with BFF Karlie Kloss, while everyone around her wore sneakers, Swift towered in an all black ensemble and Christian Louboutin black and leopard stiletto booties. These four-and-a-half-inch stunners have a half inch hidden platform, an inset of leopard dyed hair calf and a back zip for easy in and out. New York’s new welcome ambassador is taking a (big) bite out of the big apple, indeed.
